SYDNEY, May 3 Asia Pulse - The Australian stock market opened slightly lower this morning, dragged down by the central bank's decision to lift interest rates.
However the losses on the local bourse were partially kept in check by gains in resources stocks following higher commodities prices overnight.
At 1014 AEST, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index was down 10 points to 5263.1, while the all ordinaries fell 6.6 points to 5215.8.
