INDONESIA MULLS ACCELERATING DEBT REPAYMENTS TO IMF.
JAKARTA, May 3 Asia Pulse - Indonesia plans to speed up debt repayment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Bank Indonesia is almost certain that Indonesia will be able to speed up the repayment of an about US$7.8 billion debt to the world body.
Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Miranda S. Goeltom said yesterday that the government is still thrashing out the plan to speed up debt repayment to the IMF, and the central bank believes that Indonesia will be able to do so.
