Clyde & Co has improved its ratio of female partners by making up two women in its latest round of promotions.

In 2005 the firm brought in no new female partners, either by promotion or lateral hire. However, this year Paris-based construction litigator Clarisse Billot has been promoted to partner, while marine transport partner Hatty Sumption becomes a senior equity partner.
