M & M's visit the Dark Side.(NEWS)(Brief Article)
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ -- Masterfoods USA joins forces with Lucas Films with a line of M-pire-themed candies linked to the May release of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The line includes M & M's, M & M's Minis, Skittles, Lucas Crazy Hair and Kudos.
Masterfoods spokesman Jeffrey Moran says the M-pire items will be unveiled along with the motion picture's debut.
The highlight of the line are new limited-edition dark chocolate M & M's, presented in Dark Side packs. Masterfoods says it has received thousands of requests for dark chocolate M & M's. Representing the good guys are traditional milk chocolate M & M's in Jedi packs.
Rounding out the line are Skittles, which will link with an exclusive online Star Wars game, while Crazy Hair will team with collectible ...
