Pianist and educator Billy Taylor was presented with the 2005 Richard J. Bogomolny National Service award by Chamber Music America (CMA). CMA presents this award, its highest honor, each year to an exceptional individual or ensemble that has made a lasting contribution to the field of chamber music through performances, extraordinary teaching, work in support of the art form or championing of repertoire.
