The Piano Technicians Guild Auxiliary recently awarded two $500 scholarships to the junior and senior MTNA Piano Competition winners from the New York State MTA. The junior winner Allen Yu, of Cohoes, New York, is a student of Young Kim. The senior winner Annie Guo of Ithaca, New York, studies with Jennifer Hayghe. Both students will be invited to perform in a recital at the annual Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) Convention held in June 2006.
