Sure, big spring training numbers might help some players win jobs and influence managers, but those stats don't mean squat now that the regular season is here. Players who struggled in spring also get a chance to wipe the slate clean.

OF Reggie Abercrombie, Marlins. Abercrombie grabbed a spot in the lineup by hitting .358 with four homers and 17 RBIs in 67 at-bats. Considering he hasn't played above Class AA and strikes out way too much, the jump to the bigs will be rough.
RHP Scott Proctor, Yankees. He won the last spot in New York's bullpen by compiling a 1.06 ERA and allowing seven hits in 17 spring innings. Legends Field isn't quite the pressure cooker that Yankee Stadium is, however.
