Jeremiah Jones is a loaded weapon on four wheels and he's been placed in Suzuki's holster for the 2005 MX showdown.

Jones took a Yamaha YFZ450 to the fourth spot overall in 2004, but yellow snagged his attention with a full-force factory deal. Jones will pit from the massive Suzuki rig alongside 2004 champion Doug Gust. How does it feel to go from a rough, mechanically challenged season to being pampered and groomed by a factory to win big? Let's find out.
ATV Sport: How do you sum up your 2004 MX season?
Jeremiah Jones: The season was disappointing. We couldn't get the bikes going--we didn't have enough help to go in and try to win the championship. We weren't organized enough. We started too late and just never got it together. But we got fourth overall. I couldn't believe it with all the trouble we had this year.
What was it like to be presented with a contract from Suzuki?
I'm with Suzuki for two years and it looks pretty good. It was unexpected for me to even get a call from Suzuki, the way my year was going. I was just expecting to get a Yamaha deal again like I did last year. I mean, it was a lot what Yamaha did for me last year, but it wasn't anything like what Suzuki has to offer. For Suzuki to come and ask me to be part of the team shows that they really appreciate what I do out on the track.
