With more than 800 people attending this year's ATVA GNC championship awards banquet, the room was packed with more talent than you can shake a trophy at. There were racers, mechanics, team managers, media and race families. It's a good thing all those people were there, because there was a lot of trophies, a lot of food, and a lot of fun to be had.

The banquet is a once-a-year opportunity for everyone involved in ATV racing to relax and enjoy the company of all the great people who make our sport worthwhile.
The banquet is organized each year by Sherri Taylor, who helps run Baldwin Motorsports. She said, "There were 813 people at the banquet. That's a lot of people and I think the majority had a good time."
The Drawbridge Inn in Fort Mitchell, Ky., hosted the event. The room was completely filled, and the GNC banquet might move to a new venue soon. "I think we've outgrown it," said Taylor. "I'd like a room that seats 1,000 comfortably. I'll have to do some shopping around to see if we can locate a new facility or return to the Drawbridge Inn. But, we'll be there at least one more year. Next year is the ATVA's anniversary, and I don't want anyone to screw up the anniversary."
