Located at the edge of the Zion National Park in southwest Utah, the Zion Ponderosa Resort is a 10,000-acre, all-inclusive vacation spot. The list of outdoor activities includes skeet shooting, archery, equestrian, rock-wall climbing, paint ball and, of course, riding ATV trails. That's right, ATVs are welcome at this resort! We took our quads and explored the entire Ponderosa and its surrounding trails. The riding was great, and all the other activities kept us interested--when it came time to rest our ATVs, we had so many options to explore, we almost wanted to skip sleeping.

The elevation, around 7,200 feet above sea level, was a shock for us because we aren't accustomed to thin air. It took a toll on our bodies, but the good news was there's zero humidity in the air. Keep in mind that your quad may need rejetting when riding the trails surrounding the resort.
