Fidelity Information Services, a division of Fidelity National Financial, Jacksonville, Fla., will be providing courses on the servicing function for CampusMBA, the educational arm of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America.
The announcement was made at MBA's annual convention here. At an FNF press briefing, Hugh Harris, president of the mortgage services division at FIS, said the company asked how could it get more involved with the group and the answer was in providing training and education.
Mr. Harris noted that previously people who worked in the servicing function had a broad-based understanding of mortgage banking.
Now people are being trained in just one particular area of servicing.
