Import tariffs on many products imported from the US will be reduced from December 10, 2004 in conformity with the Vietnam - US Bilateral Trade Agreement, according to the Decision No.90/2004/QD-BTC issued by the Ministry of Finance.
Accordingly, the import tariff on perfumes and scented water will be reduced from 50% to 30%. The import tariff on other cosmetics products will be cut down from 50% to between 20% and 30%.
