KUALA LUMPUR, Fri. - Prominent businessman Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al- Bukhary (picture) has won the no-holds barred high-stakes battle for the 15.8 per cent stake in DRB-Hicom.

He won the stake after a last-minute decision today by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to reverse an earlier decision by the Government giving the nod to a consortium led by Tan Sri S.M. Nasimuddin S.M. Amin.
