OXFORD, N.C. -- Driven by an increasing demand for its highly popular Landmark(TM) Series line of laminated asphalt roofing shingles in the Eastern United States, CertainTeed Corporation today announced plans for a multi-million dollar expansion of its Oxford, North Carolina roofing manufacturing facility.

North Carolina Governor Mike Easley joined CertainTeed executives and associates in a ground-breaking ceremony this afternoon for a state-of-the-art, four-wide laminated shingle line that will manufacture the company's Landmark Series of laminated shingles.
