Peg Pankowski's life is all about education.

Dean of Information Technology and Telecommunications at the Community College of Southern Nevada, Pankowski is taking part in the LEADERS Program, an international program for administrators and faculty in higher education.

Participants in the program are chosen for their professional abilities, interest in advancement in higher education and the quality of proposed projects. It is a yearlong program that starts three times a year. Pankowski's program began this month.
