Pinning ceremony

The Charlotte County Shrine Club hosted the pinning of 50-year Shriner, Noble George Puterbaugh by Noble Ray Griffith, also a 50-year Shriner, on Nov. 9.

Puterbaugh served as vice president of the club in 1963; president of the Chamber of Commerce in Allen Park, Mich.; a member of Dearborn F&AM Lodge 172 for 65 years; Valley of Detroit Consistory for more than 50 years and MOSLEM Shrine, also in Detroit.

Griffith was club president in 1964 and a potentate of ARABA Shrine in Fort Myers in 1971 and served as national commander in 1982 and 1983.

Puterbaugh and Griffith are the only remaining charter members of the club, …
