Tokyo, Dec. 1 (Jiji Press)--Chemical maker Showa Denko K.K. said Wednesday it has developed a new oil-soluble stabilized vitamin C effective for wrinkle care.
The company will start marketing the vitamin, trisodium ascorbyl palmitate phosphate, as an additive for skin care and cosmetic products, under the trade name Apprecier in January 2005.
"Test results showed that the application of Apprecier to the skin effectively restricted the formation of wrinkles and brightened the skin," Showa Denko said.
