SEOUL, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - South Korean share prices started lower Wednesday on slumping U.S. stocks and profit-taking.

In the first 15 minutes of trading, the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) fell 2.40 points, or 0.27 per cent, to 875.66. The tech-filled KOSDAQ index was up 1.84 points, or 0.49 per cent, to 375.27.
