BANGALORE, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Seventy five per cent of the work on the Rs 343 billion (US$7.7 billion) Golden Quadrilateral project, linking Delhi-Mumbai-Chennai-Kolkata, has been completed, a senior official of the National Highways Authority of India said Tuesday.
The mega project involves 5,846 kms in 13 states.
NHAI's Member, Finance and Administration, L K Joshi, said 3,184 km had already been 4-laned while work on the remaining 2,662 km was in progress.
A sum of Rs 270 billion has been spent on the project, Joshi said.
