NEW YORK -- The Council on Contemporary Families (CCF) Media Awards honors outstanding journalism on families. In particular, CCF supports writing and reporting that contributes to the national conversation about what contemporary families need to flourish and how these needs can best be met. The CCF calls for nominations for its Fourth Annual Media Awards and will issue three awards in 2005:

-- Outstanding Coverage of Family Diversity

-- Outstanding Coverage of Change in American Families

-- Outstanding Broadcast Media Coverage of Family Issues
