CHRISTMAS can never be too early, extravagant or overrated on Policarpio Street in Mandaluyong City.
Take it from Norma Lim, a resident who said that as soon as they took down their Yuletide display last year, her family started planning for this year's theme.
As early as March, the Lims commissioned workers from Quezon City to complete "Santa's Workshop" so guests could enjoy the moving elves and dancing Santa Claus this year.
Her, as well as her neighbors', enthusiasm has made the street a tourist destination for the past eight years. People from all over Luzon are beckoned by the colorful lights that turn Policarpio into a Christmas wonderland.
Tonight, residents of Policarpio will officially open their display. The lights and Christmas shows would be open from 6 p.m. up to, at the very least, 11 p.m.
