IT'S SOMETHING I will never forget.

Unfortunately, it's an experience I would much rather erase from my memory because it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

The coverage of the 1st Fiba Asia Stankovic Cup in Taipei was one tough grind.

It's primarily because of the appalling performance of the Philippine squad, which finished dead last-and in embarrassing fashion-in the tournament.

The team lost to Qatar by 52, Syria by 31, Japan by 60, India by 18 and Kuwait by 22.
