A GREEN car loan that rewards customers for choosing environmentally-friendly cars while combating greenhouse gas emissions with new native tree plantings has earned credit union, mecu, a national innovation award.

One of mecu's larger branches is located on lower level one in the CSIRO Discovery Building, off Clunies Ross Street, and has serviced CSIRO staff for 47 years.
