Confidence in ACT businesses tops nation.

Business confidence in the ACT's small-to-medium enterprise business sector jumped to the highest level in the nation during the November quarter, according to the Sensis Business Index issued today.

Report author Christena Singh said the territory's SMEs recorded the largest jump in confidence across the nation, up 8per cent to 75 per cent.

''The bullishness in the ACT comes at a time when business confidence is failing nationally,'' she said.
