Kathmandu, 27 November: Speaker Taranath Ranabhat has said that democracy has failed to gain momentum because the prime minister has not been serious towards restoring parliament.

He told this to reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday [27 November] before flying to Pakistan to participate in the fifth summit of Association of Asian Parliaments.
