A former swimming coach at Northern Arizona University pled guilty to charges of sexually abusing members of a girls' swim team and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Charles Arabas had been accused previously of similar charges at Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University). The school agreed to give him a positive job recommendation at Arizona in exchange for his resignation.
