[Newscaster] Health Minister Charity Ngilu has broken ranks with some of her cabinet colleagues for allegedly sabotaging the proposed national social health insurance scheme.

Ngilu claimed Finance Minister David Mwiraria was part of a clique of cabinet ministers that was opposed to any government policy that would improve the social welfare of the poor.

Speaking for the first time since the bill was withdrawn from parliament last week, Ngilu blamed the same clique of ministers for the constitutional review impasse in the country.

She also cast aspersions on the integrity of the said ministers …
