Taipei, Nov. 22, 2004 (CENS)--Harvatek Corp. recently licensed a technology from lamp-technology giant Osram for making white-light light-emitting diodes (LEDs), making it another Taiwanese LED supplier after Everlight Electronics Co., Ltd. and Lite-On Technology Corp. to acquire the Osram technology. Harvatek said it would adopt blue-light diode chips from Opto Tech Corp. of Taiwan as well as German and American suppliers to go with the Osram technology.
