Two of the key cogs for the Penn State men's cross country team this season will be running their final cross country races for the Lions tomorrow in Van Cortland, N.Y.
Seniors Chris Foster and Joel Moceri, two of the Lions' top three runners all season, will lead the way for the young squad at the Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Athletes of America Championships Saturday at 10 a.m. in New York.
The Lions will look to match, if not surpass, last year's successful third place finish.
"It's a pretty special race," Moceri, who barely missed qualifying for the NCAA championships, said. "I just try to treat every race with the same importance." Moceri added that he didn't know if coming so close to nationals would give him any extra motivation, but he would like to go out and run every race like it was the national meet.
The team will be without top runner, sophomore Dan Mazzocco.
