It Was A Manager's Domain....
When the Edmonton Branch offered to host the 2004 Conference, delegates were particularly excited because of the pleasant memories this brought back of the 1996 conference in Edmonton. Who could forget the scavenger hunt through West Edmonton Mall that brought out the best and worst in the participants? And more importantly, what could the committee do to surpass the success of '96'?
Well, they certainly didn't disappoint. From start to finish, delegates were treated to an absolutely first class program. We know it took a united effort by the entire committee to pull together a program that encompassed professional speakers, social programs that were both fun and informative, and camaraderie throughout the 3-day program. And, of course, all the organizational and management skills they acquired in the CIM program.
