This is my first message as National President. I would like to speak to everyone, not just as your new leader but as a proud fellow member. I have been a member of this organization for 19 years and I place a high value on membership.
I would like to begin with a special thank you to Belly Smith. Betty did a fantastic job as National President for the last tour years providing strong leadership and guidance for all of us. To say that she will be a "tough act to follow" is an understatement. Fortunately. Betty will still be with the National Board of Directors for another three years in the position of Past President. I know that she will make her voice heard and provide a great service...
