What was the first job you got when you finished your education?
You assume I have finished my education! My first job after post-graduate study was as a factory inspector at the HSE.
What qualifications do you hold?
A bachelor's degree (BEng) in mechanical engineering and business studies from Sheffield University and an MA in industrial relations from Warwick University. I completed two years of post-graduate research at Imperial College, looking at how safety representatives operate in trade unions, and I earned a post-graduate diploma in safety management while working at the HSE.
