To mark the 30th anniversary of the Health and Safety at Work Act and the establishment of the HSC, the TUC will hold a conference on the issues facing the HSC today. The event will be held in London and will feature a wide range of speakers including: Minister of State for Work and Pensions, Jane Kennedy; HSC chair, Bill Callaghan; Brendan Barber, TUC general secretary; Dr Janet Asherson of the CBI; Rory O'Neil, editor of Hazards magazine; and David Eves, former deputy director-general of the HSE.
