THE LUFTWAFFE BAR

Tonight all is quiet in the Luftwaffe Bar
   on Charing Cross Road.
   It never really took off.
In the Goering Lounge the bar staff
   are taking their uniforms off.
   No more will cocktails called
   Divebomber and Focke- Wulf
be served in the Stuka Suite.
   No more will ersatz coffee
   be served--schnell!--after midnight.
And no more will the sound of ack-ack guns
   be piped over ...
