In 2003, Hideo Nomo of the Dodgers had 177 strikeouts. That gave him a record of having at least 162 strikeouts for nine consecutive years since his major league debut in 1995.
I think this is a rare record. So, I'd like to know who did the same thing for nine straight years.

There are ten other pitchers who have struck out 162 or more batters at least seasons in a row.
Tom Seaver did it 12 straight years, beginning with 170 Ks in his rookie season of 1967 and continuing through 1978 when he fanned 226 batters.
Steve Carlton (1967-1977), Mickey Lolich (1964-1974) and Jim Bunning (1957-1967) all struck out at least 162 batters each season foe 11 consecutive years.
