German television and production company Viva Medien, which was recently taken over by US media group Viacom, has revised downwards its forecasts for this year. Although revenue for the last three months was 25.3m euros, a 17 per cent increase on last year's figure of 21.3m euros, Viva Medien registered ebit losses in the quarter of 3.81m euros, in comparison with 2.75m euros for the same period last year. The German company, which employs 663 people, expects to finish the year with substantial losses.
