New Delhi, Nov 15 (PTI) Striking a delicate balance in the wake of Bharatiya Janata Party's stridency on Hindutva (pro-Hindu ideology), National Democratic Alliance on Monday said it preferred a negotiated settlement of the vexed Ayodhya issue and declared its commitment to the Indian "Constitutional ideal" of secularism.
