HONG KONG COMPANIES are renowned for being innovative, resourceful and displaying gymnastic-like flexibility when it comes to adjusting to changing market trends.

However, even the most astute company needs a little help sometimes. The Trade and Industry Department (TID) provides several initiatives and support facilities, ranging from assisting fledgling start-up companies to providing information on complex tariff and quota regulations.

The TID is responsible for conducting Hong Kong's international trade relations, implementing trade policies and agreements, and providing general support services for industries and small and medium-enterprises (SMEs).
