Vietnam President Tran Duc Luong departed Hanoi yesterday for Brazil, Chile and Argentina from November 16-23 and to participate in the12th Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) forum in Santiago.

Luong is accompanied by the Chairman of the President's Office Nguyen Van Chien, Minister of Trade Truong Dinh Tuyen, Minister of Fisheries Ta Quang Ngoc, Head of Central Science and Education Department Do Nguyen Phuong and Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). Other senior officials and representatives of some 40 local businesses will also accompany him.
