LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13 (Yonhap) -- South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun expressed confidence about the country's economic future and discounted speculation that there is a ""crisis"" in the making.

The president, who made a stopover in Los Angeles before flying to Argentina on Saturday, stressed that there are rules in the economy and that if these are adhered to, things are certain to improve.

President Roh was in Los Angeles as part of the first leg of his 12-day tour of the United States and three South American countries. He will also be present for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum and summit meetings in Chile. ""There is no need to worry about the economy,"" the president …
