SEOUL, April 3 Asia Pulse - South Korea's job seekers may look forward to a brighter future as a majority of the country's larger companies are expected to boost recruitment in the first half of the year, an industry survey showed Monday.

The survey of 110 companies, the top 10 firms in 11 industries, by online job portal Incruit showed that 62 percent of them plan to hire new workers during the April-June period.

The total number of new recruits is expected to reach 10,444 during the period, 6.6 percent more than last year, the survey showed.
