HOUSTON, April 3 Asia Pulse - Spurred by India's success in oil and gas exploration coupled with its New Exploration Licensing Policy, global oil giants including Exxon-Mobil and Chevron, have shown "massive" interest in investing in the country's hydrocarbon industry, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Murli Deora said.
Major US oil giants including Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, Texao, and ConocoPhillips have displayed a greater interest in the latest round of oil and natural gas blocks being offered for exploration by India, Deora who is here for a roadshow showcasing 55 exploration blocks.
"It's been a massive response much better than the earlier roadshows," Deora, said over a luncheon hosted by the ministry.
