Prague, March 31 (CTK) - Businessman Tomas Pitr, charged with tax frauds, has offered eight million crowns for a bail to Libuse Barkova, a businesswoman and an acquaintance of the family of ex-PM Stanislav Gross (Social Democrats, CSSD), the daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD) writes today. Barkova has been charged with an eight-million crown insurance fraud. If she paid the sum, she would be released from custody in which the court remanded her on Wednesday. Pitr, who informed Barkovas lawyers about the offer, claims that he does not want any services in return for his aid. Barkova should comment on Pitrs offer soon, says MfD. Barkova, who might …
