Indonesia reduces sentences of Bali bombers.

A total of 19 of the 23 people sentenced over the Bali bombing being held in Denpasar Prison, Bali, have received special sentence remissions for Id al-Fitr [feast marking end of Muslim fasting month of Ramadan]. "[All] except the four who were sentenced to death or life in prison received remissions," said the chief warden, Tulus Widjajanto, after attending prayers with inmates at the local prison on Sunday (14 November).

Tulus said the Bali bombers received sentence reductions of between 15 to 45 days at the end of the fasting month. Those who had their sentences reduced include Hamzah Baya alias Soleh Bin Bakir, …
