Beacon Network Creates New Opportunities.

Ever since its launch in October last year, Beacon, the network of exemplar companies from Devon and Cornwall has gone from strength to strength. Over the past year, the project's architects and funders, Business Link for Devon and Cornwall (BLDC) and the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA), have been busy establishing Beacon with an objective to stimulate sustainable business growth and encourage inter-region company networking.

Sue Baker, development manager of the Beacon network and business manager at Business Link for Devon and Cornwall, said: "After witnessing Beacon develop from its embryonic stages, I can safely say we are now achieving what we set out to do.
