SILVER SPRING, Md. -- National Council for the Social Studies today released the following advisory.

WHAT:

A unique opportunity to meet and interview some of the nation's classroom teachers, teacher educators, researchers, school officials, authors, textbook publishers, and news makers when the Baltimore Convention Center becomes America's largest social studies classroom Nov. 18-21. More than 4,000 social studies professionals will gather in Baltimore for the 84th Annual Conference of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). The theme of the conference is "Democracy and Diversity: Social Studies in Action."
