The Vice Chancellor of University of Cape-Coast, Prof. Addow Obeng, has called for a closer collaboration between the media and the university in order to ensure proper reportage on the institution to propel it to a higher pedestal.

Prof. Obeng noted that ignorance of the worth of the press on the part of the university authorities had given room for certain publications, which often dented the image of the university.
