Italian banks need to put more effort into convincing Italians of the benefits of online banking, argues Forrester. Internet users in Italy are less tuned into online banking compared with their counterparts in the other major European economies. A range of problems - including banks' channel pricing strategy and concerns over online security - need to be addressed urgently by financial services groups to rectify this.
