SARASOTA -- She thought she was registered to vote, but when Nellie Davidovich got to the polls on Tuesday, elections officials couldn't find her name anywhere.

Davidovich, 34, didn't leave with any hard feelings, though, and said Friday that elections workers were very helpful even though they weren't able to do much for her.

"I thought I registered when I got my driver's license," she said.

Her case was one of hundreds of miscues and hassles documented in a detailed log released this week by Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent.
