The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has extended the use of its EuroKing Miracle maternity solution to support its four hospitals - The Royal Oldham Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary, NorthManchester GeneralHospitaland Fairfield GeneralHospitalin Bury. The new enterprise-wide solution will enable the Trust to generate more detailed reports and provide greater consistency across its sites. As a result, the Trust will be able to deliver improved care to the 10,000 mothers that pass through its wards every year - making this installation one of the largest of its type the UK.
The decision to implement the EuroKing Miracle solution, which uses the InterSystems Cache post-relational database, was driven by Pennine's need to increase standardisation and minimise disruption as the four hospitals were merged into one...
